I have been in the RAF for just over a year and already cooked for HRH Princess Anne, the Princess Royal, and aspire to represent the force at cooking competitions in the future. I love being able to show my creativity with different dishes.

I never expected to experience so many different things when I came to the RAF! I was part of the crew making sure the people on flights from Afghanistan were safe one week, then flying to Cyprus and America the next. The job changes all the time. I knew I just wanted to fly but I wasn’t able to get a job on a commercial airline so becoming an Air & Ground Steward (AGS) was the perfect opportunity for me to get on a plane and do the job I wanted to do.
