“This is [Upper Dublin’s] 4th library building since I got my first library card. It is the first facility that promises a future.”

Generations of Upper Dublin residents have loved and used their library for the last 90 years.

Today, the UDPL meets the needs of a diverse and growing community by offering technology for creative minds, educational support for children, resources for career-driven adults, classes and lectures for lifelong learning, and a wealth of books – as well as spaces for all ages to connect, learn, and be inspired.

In a world rapidly losing public spaces and where more and more of our interactions occur online, libraries serve as a vital component of the social fabric of our communities and democratic society.

Inclusive establishments where all are welcome, libraries champion literacy, education, social equity, companionship, public discourse, and community building. They elevate us and inspire us to become the best version of ourselves.
